Burton on form in animated treat

Tim Burton’s Corpse Bride (Warner, €24.99) packs a lot of fun into this stop motion animated feature.

Johnny Depp voices the character of Victor, who is taken away to the underworld where he ends up married to the Corpse Bride (Helena Bonham Carter).

The only trouble is he has a real wife in the real world. In a similar style to The Nightmare Before Christmas, this is a bellyful of laughs, with a skeleton cast, and proves Mr Burton is the king of the quirky.

Impressive extras interviews, behind-the-scenes footage and production drawings, a look at the skills of the marvellous animators, plus a chance to meet the actors behind the voices, take a tour of the puppet workshop and lots more.
