Brown released without charge in wife assault investigation

Former Stone Roses frontman Ian Brown was released without charge today after being questioned on suspicion of assaulting his wife.

The 46-year-old was arrested in west London last month but has now been told he will face no further action.

Brown married Fabiola Quiroz, 37, a Mexican model and actress, about 10 years ago and the couple have a nine-year-old son named Emilio.

Police were called to reports of a disturbance at a residential address shortly after 8am on November 2.

A Metropolitan Police spokesman said the 46-year-old man arrested in connection with the incident had been released from his bail and would face “no further action”.
