Dear Electric Picnic,
Where have you been all my life?
After yesterday’s festivities and last night’s emotional performance from Sam Smith, I wasn’t sure the whole festival could get any better.
Turn’s out Sundays at Electric Picnic are just like any other standard Sunday, pure bliss - well, kind of.
You can get up, bright and early to catch-up on all that washing.
The surf laundry tent, located in the Jimmy Hendrix campsite, caters for all your washing needs.
They even give you this fetch jumpsuit to wear while they act like big mammies and wash your grass-stained bits and bobs.
Looking well, lads.
2. Take a bath
At this point, muscles I didn’t even know existed hurt from throwing shapes I didn’t even know I had, so a nice long bath was just what I needed to recuperate.
Fat chance finding a bath in Electric Picnic you say?
How about a Hot Tub? Look no further.
Maybe a massage? Don’t mind if I do.

3. The Sunday morning service.
Nothing like Dublin Gospel Choir to rid of that ‘can’t make it to mass’ guilt.
They belted out hit after hit, and drew up to a thousand punters to the Main Stage.
4. The Sunday paper
Pick a spot, grab a coffee and enter The Minefield Stage.
This cosy area is full to the brim of theatre, news, discussions, spoken word, poetry, arts and literature.
Think of it as your Sunday paper coming to life.
5. That family Sunday drive.
We’ve all experienced a time in our lives when we were packed into the car after mass and driven two hours to take part in a family-bonding activity.
Well, workshops in jewellery making, basket weaving, knitting and even wood carving are all available in The Green Craft arena.
And all minus that token ‘I want to sit next to the window’ fight.
7. A trip to the shop.
Just your standard ‘pop to the shop for a few bits’.
Or if it’s anything like my Sundays, there will always come a time where I decide that I’m way too comfy and lazy to cook.
Just think of any cuisine from around the world and Electric Picnic will deliver.
8. Head to the local.
Sunday evening drinks at the local?
Step into The Cute Snug.
9. The Sunday game
Don’t worry they have that covered as well.
Super screen + super crowds + super cheers = super Sunday.
10. Meet old friends and reminisce on old times
Why not turn that late night Sunday phone call into a full on 90s dance party?
Sundays made easy with Electric Picnic.
