Arctic Monkeys announce tour

Arctic Monkeys have announced they are to tour Ireland and the UK.

The Brit-winning band, who headlined Leeds and Reading festivals last month, will hit the road later this year, kicking off with a show at Liverpool Echo Arena on November 13.

The 'Fluorescent Adolescent' singers will then play gigs in cities including Sheffield, London, Birmingham, Glasgow and Belfast before wrapping up their tour at the O2 in Dublin on November 26.

The band – Alex Turner, Jamie Cook, Matt Helders and Nick O'Malley - released their third album, 'Humbug', last month and it went to No 1 in Ireland.
