Andrew up for 'Big Brother' boot

'Big Brother' housemate Andrew will be facing the public vote for eviction this Friday, after being put up for the chop by ex-serviceman amputee Steve.

The 19-year-old student was chosen by the war veteran, who won the Save And Replace task after beating fellow nominees John James, Ben and Dave.

“Sorry, Andy, I’m really sorry about it, really sorry,” said the 40-year-old as he replaced his picture with Andrew’s.

Andrew replied: “I haven’t got a chance. I’d hate it if I go... but I’ll get to spend the rest of my summer vacation with my mum. I have had a great time and got to be Jack Bauer. This house has helped me a lot.”

“You haven’t done enough to peeve people off, dude. You’ve got all the women after you,” Mario added.

The four nominated housemates transformed themselves into ’blushing brides’ for the task.

They donned wedding gowns and glammed themselves up with make-up and accessories, before throwing bouquets to their designated ’catchers’.

Laura was chosen to be Ben’s catcher and Corin caught for Steve, while Mario worked with Dave and JJ with John James.

After five attempts, Steve and John James were tied with the same result and had to take part in a sudden death tie break, which Steve eventually won.
