Airline entices travellers to Los Angeles by stating: "Brad is single"

One airline has found an eye-catching way to cash in on Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt’s split.

Norwegian has decided to promote flights from Gatwick to Los Angeles by highlighting the fact that Brad is no longer a taken man.

The ad simply states “Brad is single. Los Angeles From/One Way incl taxes £169.”

It went out on social media and in newspapers and so far the response has been positive, with Twitter users calling it “brilliant marketing” and “funny” despite the fact it’s on the back of a nasty divorce.

A spokeswoman for the airline said: “We have used a playful advert simply to highlight our flights to Los Angeles and to mirror the conversations people throughout the UK are having about a high-profile media story.

“We are pleased that the vast majority of feedback has been positive and people have read the advert with the humour it was intended.”

Angelina filed for divorce on Monday, citing irreconcilable differences, ending one of showbusiness’s most high profile marriages.

She has asked for physical custody of the couple’s six children.
