£2.2m in jewels missing from Drake's tour bus

Phoenix police have said 2.2 million ($3 million) worth of jewellery was taken from a tour bus being used by rapper Drake and DJ Future the Prince.

Police Sgt Vince Lewis says the theft occurred on Tuesday night at the Talking Stick Resort Arena in Phoenix, where the entertainers were performing.

Drake has been co-headlining his Summer Sixteen concert tour with fellow rapper Future, while Future the Prince is Drake’s official DJ.

According to investigators, someone entered the bus between 10 and 10:15pm and removed a briefcase containing the jewellery.

Lewis said the police would not disclose the identities of the owners of the briefcase and jewellery, but he confirmed they did not belong to the Hotline Bling rapper.

Representatives for Drake did not immediately respond to requests for comment and a representative for Future the Prince declined comment on the theft case.
