Watch the new Simon video which will make you think about housing and homeless crisis

The Simon Communities in Ireland have created a thought provoking video to coincide with a new campaign calling for the government to build more social and affordable housing.

The charity’s ‘No One Left Behind’ campaign demands that housing must no longer be viewed as a commodity.

Over the three-week campaign, Simon Communities will ask people to sign a petition demanding that the Government ensures that everyone can have access to affordable and social housing.

National spokesperson for the Simon Communities, Niamh Randall, said Ireland was in danger of creating “lost generations” of people experiencing homelessness and housing insecurity.
