For centuries mankind has been slowly building into the sky, and from the Great Pyramid of Giza to the Empire State Building the title of “world’s tallest building” has changed hands time and again.

Recently, ‘who has the biggest skyscraper?’ has become something of a competition, and of all ten of the world’s largest buildings have been completed in the last ten years.

How many of these monoliths can you recognise – several of them former record holders themselves…
