Don't give presents to us give them to those in need: Cork primary school

A North Cork Primary School is asking its students to give Christmas presents to those in need rather than the teachers in the school.

Denis Murray the Principal of Dromahane National School said everyone at the school was agreed it was a good idea to show students from the rural primary school that there is people less well off at this time of the year.

Speaking to Patricia Messinger on C103's Cork Today Show today, the Principal said it was the school's parents association who had the idea initially and he was confident everyone would get behind the initiative.
