The actress who played baby Emma on the hit series Friends has responded to the countless memes and videos being shared on Twitter in the run up to the New Year.

17-year-old Noelle and her sister Cali Sheldon took turns playing Ross and Rachel's daughter on the series between 2003 and 2004, starring in a total of eight episodes.

In season 10, episode four of the series, Emma is just a toddler, and the Friends are attending her birthday party.

In the episode, and while waiting for Emma to wake from her nap, they're asked to record a video message for Emma to watch in the future. In his message, Matthew Perry's character Chandler says "Hi Emma. It's the year 2020. Are you still enjoying your nap?".

Noelle used her photoshop skills to superimpose herself into the iconic coffee shop set, taking to Instagram to write:

"Just woke up from the best nap of all time, happy 2020!! (ft. my poorly done photoshop).

"Hope everyone has an excellent year full of family, friends and laughter!!"
