Tribune political editor Coleman joins Newstalk

Former Sunday Tribune political editor Shane Coleman has joined Newstalk 106-108 fm to head up its political coverage.

Coleman has been covering the political landscape for the past 12 years. Prior to joining Newstalk 106-108fm, he worked as a business editor and deputy editor at the Sunday Tribune for three years and as a business journalist for the Irish Independent for two years.

Newstalk station editor Garrett Harte said: "There is a greater demand on the media to deliver and discuss the affairs of the State in a more honest and robust way…Shane brings a wealth of experience (to his new role). "
