Toyota recalls millions of cars over faulty brake system

Toyota has announced a recall affecting 1.75 million cars worldwide.

It is due to a problem with brake installations and fuel component issues.

Toyota said approximately 802,000 vehicles globally had a faulty brake system, which could crack and result in the brake fluid leaking.

The fuel pipe issue, which affects 70,000 vehicles in Europe and the Middle East, applies to Lexus models manufactured between January 2005 and September 2010.
