Three new Lidl stores in Cork, Galway, Donegal

Lidl is to open three new Irish stores this month, creating more than 50 jobs in Galway, Cork and Donegal.

The announcement will see Lidl open its 140th Irish store and brings its total number of employees to over 3,400.

The three new stores in Doughiska, Cork city centre (on Conmarket Street just under TK Max) and Letterkenny will open on Thursday, February 27.

More than 50 staff have been recruited from the localities to service the three new stores, 28 of them in the Cork store.
