Tesco seals insurance tie-up

Tesco’s banking arm in the UK has launched its life insurance business with insurer Friends Provident.

Customers in Britain can buy life insurance, critical illness cover and over-50s products.

Tesco is the biggest supermarket bank in the UK with six million customers across 28 financial products.
