Survey shows rise in manufacturing

A new survey shows a welcome return to growth for the Irish manufacturing sector.

According to Investec’s monthly Purchasing Managers’ Index released this morning, manufacturing output increased for the first time since February last month.

The data shows Irish manufacturing firms saw an improvement in overall business conditions during June, with both output and employment returning to growth.
