Supervalu launches first drive-through

SuperValu have launched Ireland's first ‘Drive Through’ service at its store in Carrigaline, Co Cork.

Customers are now able to place their orders online and collect their shopping at the new drive through bay. Staff will bring their shopping to them after the driver buzzes through their name and order number via an intercom.

Supervalu managing director Martin Kelleher said: "This is the first of its kind in Ireland and we hope to roll this out to a number of stores by the end of the year."
