Study puts Ireland top of competitiveness rankings

Ireland has been ranked at the top of a global business survey for its available skilled workforce.

According to the IDA, the IMD World Competitiveness study is used by companies when they are considering investing abroad.

It also rates Ireland in first place when it comes to flexibility of its workforce, investment incentives and attitudes towards globalisation.

The IDA said these factors add significantly to our reputation as a host for Foreign Direct Investment.
