Ryanair announce new Barcelona base

Ryanair has announced the opening of a new base at Barcelona's El Prat airport.

The base will operate more than 400 weekly flights and will sustain 400 direct Ryanair jobs.

Ryanair CEO Michael O’Leary said the base would operate "23 new routes and serve 2.5 million passengers every year."
