Report: Green economy would increase employment

A new report has outlined to the Government that adopting a green economy swiftly could increase exports and employment here.

The report claims that more than 15,400 jobs have already been created in the sector since 2007.

The High Level Action Group on Green Enterprise says a 'Green IFSC' should be developed.

It also said our waste is an under-utilised resource of considerable value and recommends the creation of a single all-island waste market.
