Primark opens two new US stores

Primark has opened two more stores in the US, bringing the total number of Primark stores in America to five.

The first store in Boston opened in September 2015.

Primark today opened its second store in Pennsylvania, at Willow Grove Park Mall, while last Saturday it opened its first store in New Jersey, at the Freehold Raceway Mall.

Five hundred new jobs will be created as a result of the company's US expansion.

Commenting on the store openings, chief executive of Primark Paul Marchant, said: "We are pleased to open our fourth and fifth stores in the US as we continue to receive extremely positive customer feedback during this time of growth in the northeast."
