There are fresh hopes of a settlement for the protesting Visteon workers in Belfast today.
Around 210 workers have been staging a sit-in at the car components factory since management announced 10 days ago that it is closing its operations.
Protests had spread to plants in Enfield, north London, and Basildon, Essex.
The staff is set to meet with union officials today who have just returned from talks with management in New York.
A union spokesperson said he was optimistic.
