Noonan: No change to tax deadline next year

Finance Minister Michael Noonan has confirmed that there will be no changes to the pay-and-file deadline for self-assessed tax payers next year.

The Government had signalled that it would bring the deadline forward in 2014 to help with Budget forecasting.

In a statement, Minister Noonan has confirmed that will not now happen next year, with any changes to the pay-and-file date not taking beginning until 2015 at the earliest.
