News Corp records loss

News Corp has posted global losses of 28%.

Rupert Murdoch's media empire's pre-tax earnings were $684m in the year to June 30.

That is down from $945m the previous year.

It comes as News Corp is set to buy a number of Irish radio stations, including FM104 and Q102.
