Discount retailer Lidl has created 40 new permanent jobs at two new Dublin stores this month.
The new Ballycullen store opened on Thursday, December 5 and will be followed this week by the new Terenure store which opens on Thursday, December 12.
The retailer received more than 200 applications from the localities for the 40 permanent roles.
The openings bring the total number of Lidl stores in Ireland to 138.
The retailer will also be launching its new toy range which featured on 'The Late Late Toy Show' and will be on special offer in stores across the country this week.
