ISEQ marginally down

The ISEQ index of Irish shares remained largely unchanged today, closing down 0.01% at 3306.

Among the fallers, Kenmare Resources was down 11.72% to €0.56; Donegal Creameries closed down 2.76% to €3.60; Smurfit Kappa fell 2.64% to €7.00 and Kingspan was down 1.67% to €7.96.

On the risers' board, UTV gained 19.64% to €1.68; Merrion Pharmaceuticals added 11.11% to €0.40; Independent News & Media was up 8.13% to €0.25; CPL Resources gained 4.03% to €3.10 and Elan Corporation climbed 3.22% to €11.21.
