Inflation falls slightly in September

The annual rate of inflation decreased by 0.3% in September, when compared to the same month last year.

The Central Statistics Office reports that transport costs, clothing and footwear, home furnishings and equipment; and food and non-alcoholic drinks all dropped in price.

However, there were increases in education, communications and hotels and restaurants.
