Indian firm to create 800 new jobs in North

An Indian outsourcing company has announced plans to create 800 jobs in the North over the coming years.

FirstSource says 300 of the jobs will be created in Derry, with the remaining 500 at an as-yet undecided location.

The firm already employs more than 900 people in Belfast and Derry.

The expansion is being supported by a £6m (€7.6m) package from Invest Northern Ireland.
