Index highlights rise in hotel room prices

Irish hotel prices are on the road to recovery, according to the latest hotels.com Hotel Price Index for 2012.

The average hotel price in Ireland is now €90 a night, that is up 5% year-on-year.

The report found that Dublin prices are up by 8%t while Killarney is Ireland's most expensive destination at €101 a night on average per hotel room.

Limerick is Ireland's least expensive destination at €67.
