Ibec predicts strong growth for Irish economy

Ibec is predicting strong growth in our economy despite challenges from Brexit.

The employers group says a strong labour market, in particular, will underpin the buoyancy.

It comes after Goodbody's said yesterday that Ireland has regained its lost decade after the economic crash.

Ibec is forecasting growth of 4.2% this year.
