Govt to keep 9% VAT rate for tourism sector

The Finance Minister has announced that the 9% VAT rate for tourism services will remain.

However, Mr Noonan warned the industry that if there are any price increases he will reconsider this.

He also announced that the film tax credit scheme will go ahead in 2015, and he hopes to increase the €50m cap in 2016.
