GlaxoSmithKline in €470m sale of top brands

GlaxoSmithKline is to sell over-the-counter brands in Europe, including Solpadeine, Zantac and Beconase, for €470m to Omega Pharma.

The move, which follows a similar sale in the US and Canada in January, is part of a drive to refocus its consumer healthcare business on priority brands and markets.
