€116 the average cost of a night in hotel - survey

A new survey is putting the average cost of a night in an Irish hotel at €116 a night.

Hotels.com said the first half of this year recorded a price jump of 15%.

Dublin prices jumped by nearly a fifth and are still the highest in the country at €128 per night.

The best value can be found in Limerick, where despite a 10% jump in the six-month period, rooms now cost an average of €82 a night.
