Education Minister announces €10m for Institutes of Technology

The Education Minister Richard Bruton has announced €10m worth of funding for Institutes of Technology.

The capital grants for the 14 ITs will go towards health and safety, infrastructure and ICT needs.

The money will be distributed based on the amount of pupils in each institute.

DIT and Cork Institute of Technology will get the most, with €900,000 each.
