ECB maintains key interest rates

The European Central Bank has, as expected, kept its key interest rates unchanged.

The bank has been taking action to try to stimulate growth in the eurozone's economy and prevent deflation.

Last month the ECB cut its main interest rate from 0.05% to 0%.

Inflation across the eurozone stood at zero last month, well below the ECB's target of close to 2%.
