Cork travel agency Foreign A Fares to close doors

A well-known Cork travel agency has announced that it is closing its doors.

Foreign A Fares has been operating since 1995.

In a statement this afternoon, the company said the move was necessary because of very difficult trading conditions.

Nine people are to lose their jobs with the closure.

People who have holidays booked with Foreign A Fares will be protected by the Commission for Aviation Regulation's bond.
