Broadband development to be discussed at EU conference

The benefits of a "Digital Agenda", including the development of broadband, are being discussed at an EU conference in Dublin today.

The Minister for Communications Eamon Ryan will attend the meeting, which will hear how digital technology is progressing across Europe.

There has been criticism in the past that our broadband technology is lagging behind other European countries.
