Bord Na Móna transport division workers threaten industrial action.

Staff in Bord Na Móna's transport division are threatening industrial action.

The SIPTU members are accusing the company of planning to unilaterally impose pay cuts of at least 12% on rail workers.

The firm is also in the process of outsourcing its truck fleet to a private contractor from September 1.

The union has said a ballot for industrial action will take place if the company refuses to enter discussions on the proposals.
