AIB appoints new chief exec

AIB appoints new chief exec

AIB has appointed Bernard Byrne as its new chief executive.

The 47-year-old, who is an executive director at the bank, will replace current CEO David Duffy who is stepping down with immediate effect.

Mr Duffy announced his resignation earlier this year.
