Aer Lingus has announced a further price hike for passengers.
Fuel surcharges on long-haul flights to and from the US are to increase by up to €28 from next Wednesday.
Flights to and from New York, Boston and Washington will increase by up to €25.
Routes between Ireland and Chicago will go up by around €28, while San Francisco and LA flights will increase by up to €21.
The airline said the increases were necessary because of the rising price of oil.
