Aer Arann reaches record number of passengers

Aer Arann has announced that it carried a record number of passengers in the first five months of 2008.

The regional airline carried 430,100 passengers, a 3.1% increase over the first quarter of 2007.

Their Galway to London route increased its passengers numbers by 23%, while numbers between Waterford and London grew by 11%.

Passenger numbers between Waterford and Manchester rose 42% and between Dublin and -Galway by 13%.
