Access to finance is improving for family businesses

Irish family businesses say access to finance is improving.

A KPMG report has found firms here are more confident about their prospects than their European counterparts.

73% of the companies saw an increase in turn over in the first six months of this year - that compares to an increase of just 57% in the same statistic on the continent.

While 65% of those asked had no difficulties in accessing money in the first half of this year.
