50 new jobs for Galway as heart-stent company sets up European HQ

Fifty new jobs are being announced at a new research and innovation centre in Galway.

Medical Technologies company SMT is setting up its European headquarters in the county.

SMT manufactures stents which are used in cardiac surgery. It says the positions will come on stream over the next five years.
