Make your nest in this popular commuter belt

By Rose Martin
HERON’S GROVE couldn’t be more convenient to the centre of Carrigaline in Co Cork, a hugely popular area for commuters.

Just five minutes from Douglas and 20 from the city (in good traffic), the area is also close to the seaside.

Right now, a house that fills the starter home category is on offer at 19 Beechgrove, in Heron’s Wood.

On the market with Jennifer Bermingham of Noelle Morrison and Associates, the house has a guide of €320,000 and is in great condition, she says.

Viewing has been good so far for this three-bedroom house and she expects it to sell quickly.

Briefly, accommodation consists of a living room with oak flooring, a kitchen dining room with oak kitchen and double doors to the garden and three upstairs bedrooms.

Bright and well-appointed, the house also has gas heating, an en suite master bedroom and parking to the front of the property.
