HEARTS players will consider asking the Scottish Professional Footballers’ Association for help if they don’t get the answers they want from majority shareholder Vladimir Romanov.
A squad delegation led by captain Steven Pressley will meet with the Lithuanian businessman after league game against Aberdeen.
Hearts head coach Graham Rix is believed to have told players he was not picking the team ahead of the match at Dundee United on Tuesday.
A total of six changes were made to the side which beat Aberdeen 3-0 in the Tennent’s Scottish Cup last week as Hearts drew 1-1 at Tannadice.
After the game, the players agreed to seek talks with Romanov over the situation and the Lithuanian agreed to the request. He is expected to be at the Dons match, but the players will consider asking the union to intervene if they are not satisfied with his response to their concerns.
