Ornua unveils executives and new global operating model
Ornua new roles: Cesar França and Jason Musk.
Irish dairy co-op Ornua has appointed Cesar França and Jason Musk to two new executive roles within its global leadership team, along with the introduction of a new global operating model.
The new model sees Ornua, owner of the Kerrygold brand, creating a new global commercial division, which Cesar França will lead as its chief commercial officer. Cesar previously led the Ornua Global Foods Division. He will now lead Ornua’s combined consumer foods and value-added ingredients business units.
Jason Musk, meanwhile, has been appointed as chief operating officer and will lead Ornu’s new centralised global operations function. Jason will lead operational efficiency across the group.
The operational changes will underpin an ambitious new growth plan for the business, developed by Conor Galvin, CEO, and the senior leadership team to leverage operational synergies, improve efficiency and facilitate high-value commercial growth in a rapidly evolving business environment.
Conor Galvin said: “This more focused and agile operating model is an exciting milestone in Ornua’s continued growth journey. It marks the first step in the delivery of a new and ambitious growth strategy, which will drive value for Ornua’s member co-operatives and Irish farming families, while serving the needs of our customers across the globe.
“The changes are timely for the business and industry, as geopolitical tensions, trade disruptions, and shifting consumer behaviours, have all increased business uncertainty and impacted market conditions.”
As part of its new operating model, Ornua is also creating a new Route to Market and Member Relations Business Unit, which will develop profitable routes to market for Irish dairy product. Leadership for the new business unit will be announced in due course.
