IT has left many adult audiences in tears but Disney bosses were celebrating yesterday as Toy Story 3 sailed past Titanic in the all-time British box office league.
The animated film has now become the second highest-grossing movie yet in Britain.
Toy Story 3 has now taken nearly £70 million (€84m) at the box office, second only to Avatar.
The children’s film, which has prompted weeping among parents with its nostalgic triggers, overtook Titanic and Mamma Mia at the weekend.
However, it still has a distance to catch up with Avatar which has taken more than £92m since its release in the Britain.
