Irish Rowing Championships attract crowds to National Rowing Centre in Farran

The water of the Taiscumar Reservoir behind Farran Wood attracted crowds on Saturday as the Irish Rowing Championships took place.

The championships were held at the National Rowing Centre in Farran, Co Cork.

There was a sense of anticipation prior to the race as participants prepared their boats in the sunshine.

Videographer David Keane captured the exciting atmosphere as participants raced down the stretch of water behind Farran Wood.

Family and friends who attended the championships basked in the 21 degree heat while supporting and cheering on the teams from the riverside of the rowing centre.
