The Cork LGBT Pride Festival kicked off today with a family fun day at Fitzgerald Park.

Events continue for the week culminating with the 12th Annual Cork Pride Parade on Sunday, August 6.

Today's event in Fitzgerald Park this was an afternoon of family fun, rainbow festivities and activities.

We sent videographer, Dan Linehan, down to check out the action.

Even the sheep were having a good time!

And Cork Pride shared a walkabout in the park while The Gypsy Fish Band took the stage.
