Foggy scenes greet early arrivals at the National Ploughing Championships

The National Ploughing Championships officially get underway tomorrow but early arrivals are being met with very foggy conditions.

Attendees will be hoping the fog and wet conditions clear up for the three-day extravaganza.

Highest temperatures for today and tomorrow are in 15 to 18 degrees range with sunny spells appearing amid a few drizzle patches.

Irish Examiner videographer Dan Linehan was in Tullamore capturing the eerie scenes.
